The Shopping Benefit

"Cure Mommy's Breast Cancer" to benefit form Bloomingdales The Shopping Benefit Multi-Charity Event to raise funds for Long Island Charities.
"Cure Mommy's Breast Cancer" will participate in a unique event. The Shopping Benefit on October 29, 2006 from 10am-10pm at Bloomingdale's three Long Island Stores including stores in Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, in the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington Station and the newly opened Furniture Gallery that is also in the Roosevelt Field Mall. Nearly 50 charities from Nassau & Suffolk Counties will benefit from the funds raised through ticket sales. More than $100,000 is expected to be distributed among the participating charities.
Customers who purchase a $10 ticket from participating charities will enjoy a 15% - 20% savings throughout the store (with limited exclusions). The event will also feature live music and special events throughout the day. Proceeds from all ticket sales will benefit participating non-profit organizations. Tickets will also be sold at all store entrances on the day of the event.
